The GST-806A15 simply lengthens the distance through fiber optical cable. The unit provides media conversion between 10/100/1000Base-T and 1000Base-SX/LX interfaces for a variety of applications. The unit features Auto MDI/MDI-X on the TP port and DIP switch to allow for the configuration of smart functions. The unit features a fiber interface and Link Pass Through function (LLCF/LLR) that operates to monitor and manage the network.

Simple Installation

The GST-806A15 can be utilized with a 19-inch media converter chassis, models MC-1610MR and MC-1610MR48, from Planet Technology. When the unit operates with the media converter chassis, the GST-806A15 can be monitored and managed both locally and remotely.
